The second workshop within the project titled „Visegrad Civil Bridge to Ukraine” was held on 9-13 June 2015 in Berehovo. The staff of the Czech Fundraising Centre, Jana Ledvinova, director and Jan Kroupa, trainer held lectures and trainings at the workshop. The project is implemented by the Ukrainian-Hungarian Regional Development Centre with the financial support of the International Visegrad Fund.

The representatives of Transcarpatian NGOs participated in the workshop. They got acquainted with the concept and different techniques of alternative fundraising, as well as the Czech successful examples of fundraising. The main topics at the workshop were: why alternative fundraising is important, finding individual donors, corporate donors, the importance of building strategic partnership, organizing fundraising campaigns, its importance and tools.   Continue reading →

From 13 to 15 May meeting was held within the project titled „Visegrad Civil Bridge to Ukraine” financied by the Visegrad Fund and implemented by the Ukrainian-Hungarian Regional Development Centre.

The meeting was held in Prague, in the Czech Fundraising Centre with the participation of Czech experts, Jana Ledvinova director and Magdalena Shpachkova coordinator, as well as Karolina Danch, manager of the Ukrainian-Hungarian Regional Development Centre. They discussed the topic (Fundraising – alternative methods of fundraising) of the second workhop 9-13 June, and decided that it will be divided inti theoretical and practical parts in order to increase the level of theoretical knowledge, practical skills and abilities. The first workshop within the framework of the project titled Visegrad Civil Bridge to Ukraine took place on 20-24 April. Its topic was “Civil collaboration and networking”, the lecturers were experts from the Slovakian Forum Information Centre, Maria Kulcsar director and Peter Kmotrik trainer. The project is implemented by the Ukrainian-Hungarian Regional Develeopment Centre with the financial assistance of the International Visegrad Fund.

Representatives of local Transcarpathian NGOs were invited to take part in the training, total of 20 people. The participants could learn about the principles of partnership, specific features of its management and common problems, as well as their potential solutions. The workshop consisted of a theoretical part and a practical one, where problematic issues were examined through simulation games and case studies. Continue reading →
