Regional cooperation in V4EaP countries: experience exchange and best practices – Study tour to Košice

IMAG3627The Ukrainian-Hungarian Development Centre, the Slovak Forum Information Cenre, the Czech Fundraising Centre and the Hungarian RECIK Foundation training within the project titled „Regional cooperation in V4EaP countries: experience exchange and best practices” with the support of the Visegrád Fund.

20 people are involved in the training from Transcarpathia, who can learn about tender writing, project management, human resource planning and other important topics, which are essential to the successful implementation of projects. After the preperation for the professional practice since April 2013, the participants could gain insight into the practical implementation of a project within the study tour to Košice.

The study tour, taking place 11-13 October, had several legs. The first was in the St. Luke Recreation Centre in the settlement of Hatfa, where the representatives of local Hungarian NGOs received the Transcarpathian guests in order to present their successfully implemented cross-border projects.


After the meeting, the team moved on to Košice, where dinner and cultural program awaited them. On the second day of the study tour, the participants could visit the famous craft street in Košice, the dome, the Rákóczi tomb, the Mikluš Prison and other important monuments, then they continued their journey to Rožňava. They visited the Gemerský Craftsmen Centre in the settlement of Krásnohorská Dlhá Lúka. The participants could meet the representatives of Slovak, Hungarian and Romanian NGOs thanks to the Forum Information Cenre.


During the professional discussion they could gain insight into the successful implementation of EU projects, a number of joint initiatives have been created, which will be hopefully implemented during the programming period 2014-2020. In addition to the expansion of knowledge, professional relationships and collaborations have been developed between the representatives of NGOs. The next study tour will take place in Prague in November 2013.
